Elaine Wreford

Elaine Wreford was born in Kenya in 1913, arriving in South Australia ten years later. She studied at the SA School of Art in the early 1930s.

Elaine was noted for her semi-abstract paintings, and in the period 1960-91 held about 17 solo exhibitions in Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne and Nairobi. She is 'listed' in the major art references.

For sale is a signed watercolour, the image measuring 66 x 55 cms, entitled Strangers. The sale price is $250.
